Research Prototype
EchoCare
A research prototype for voice-enabled care alerts

AWS ServerlessAmazon Alexa
Some people find it hard to press a physical call button. EchoCare is an early-stage research prototype exploring whether a voice request can take its place.
The current prototype uses Amazon Alexa and a serverless backend to test one flow: a spoken request routed to a designated caregiver. Multi-user routing, response tracking, and integration with existing care workflows are future research topics — the long-term concept is a care-alert platform whose input devices (voice, dedicated buttons, tablets) and notification channels (LINE, staff apps, existing nurse-call systems) can be swapped.
EchoCare is not currently available for clinical or emergency use. The code is open source.
